The Instantaneous pickup accuracy is 10%. The
GT-H trip units have a user-selectable
switchable instantaneous over current , an
additional value of OFF appears at the end of the
listing of numerical values. Choose this setting to
disable instantaneous protection.
The bands are depicted as Time Current
Diagram in appendix 3.1 of this Application
manual.
ST and I setting Limitations
In some cases the stated maximum settable
Short time current and instantaneous current
value can exceed the Short Time withstand
current capabilities of the breaker in which they
are installed.
The GT range of trip unit always detects the
breaker in which it is installed and where needed
limits the indicated settable values as per table
2.6a and 2.6b.

2.2.3.3.1 High Set Instantaneous Protection
(HSIOC)
HSIOC is also Known as Override Pickup. The trip
units used in EntelliGuard G circuit breakers are
provided with an override instantaneous trip:
-- The HSIOC setting is normally set at 107% of
the circuit breaker Icw rating when the
adjustable selective instantaneous is set to ON.
-- If the adjustable selective instantaneous is set
to OFF then the HSIOC nominal pick up is
reduced to 98% of the circuit breaker's Icw and,
considering tolerance, the minimum pickup
reacts at 91% of the circuit breaker's Icw value.
2.2.3.4 Making Current Release (MCR)
Every EntelliGuard TU circuit breaker uses a
making current release that is specifically
designed to prevent damage to the circuit
breaker when it closed on a fault. In some cases

ST und I (Kurzschluss) Begrenzungen
In einigen Fällen kann der angegebene
maximale einstellbare Kurzschlussstrom- und
Schnellauslösungsstrom-Wert die
Bemessungskurzzeitstromfestigkeit-
Einsatzmöglichkeit des Schalters überschreiten,
in dem der Schutz installiert ist. Die GT-
Auslöseeinheiten erkennen immer den Schalter,
in dem sie installiert sind und die notwendigen
Grenzwerte nach den Tab. 2.6a und 2.6b.

2.2.3.3.1 High-Kurzschlussstromschnellschutz
(HSIOC)
HSIOC ist auch bekannt als 'Override Pickup'. Die
Auslöseeinheiten der EntelliGuard G
Leistungsschalter sind mit einer 'Erweiterten
Schnellauslösung' versehen:
-- Die HSIOC Einstellung ist normalerweise auf
107% des Schalter Icw-Wertes gesetzt, wenn die
einstellbare selektive Schnellauslösung auf EIN
gesetzt wurde.
-- Wenn die einstellbare selektive
Schnellauslösung auf AUS gestellt ist, dann ist
der HSIOC nominale Einstellwert auf 98% des
Schalter Icw's reduziert. Unter Berücksichtigung
der Toleranz, ist der niedrigste Reaktionswert
91% des Leistungsschalter Icw's Wertes.
2.2.3.4 Einschaltstromauslöser (MCR)
Jeder EntelliGuard TU-Leistungsschalter
verwendet einen Einschaltstromauslöser, speziell
zur Vermeidung von Schäden am

Po jego wybraniu zabezpieczenie bezzwłoczne jest
wyłączone.
Pasma tolerancji charakterystyk czasowo-
prądowych są przedstawione w załączniku 3.1 do
tej instrukcji.
Ograniczenia nastaw dla zabezpieczeń ST i I
W niektórych przypadkach wyżej wspomniane
maksymalne wartości nastaw zabezpieczeń
zwarciowych: krótkozwłocznego i bezzwłocznego
mogą przekroczyć wytrzymałość zwarciową torów
prądowych wyłącznika w którym wyzwalacz jest
zabudowany.
Wyzwalacz serii GT zawsze wykrywa w jakiej wersji
wyłącznika jest zainstalowany, a gdy zachodzi

2.2.3.3.1 Zabezpieczenie wysokozwarciowe
natychmiastowe (HSIOC)
Zabezpieczenie HSIOC stosowane w wyzwalaczach
nadprądowych wyłączników EntelliGuard jest
również nazywane bezzwłocznym nadrzędnym.
-- Nastawa HSIOC jest zwykle ustawiona na
poziomie 107% znamionowego prądu zwarciowego
krótkotrwale wytrzymywanego (Icw) wyłącznika,
gdy włączone jest (ON) regulowane zabezpieczenie
bezzwłoczne selektywne.
-- Jeśli regulowane zabezpieczenie bezzwłoczne
selektywne jest wyłączone (OFF) wtedy nastawa
HSIOC jest obniżona do 98% Icw wyłącznika, a przy
uwzględnieniu tolerancji minimalny poziom
zadziałania wynosi 91% wartości Icw.
2.2.3.4 Zabezpieczenie przed załączeniem na
zwarcie (MCR)
Każdy wyłącznik EntelliGuard TU posiada
wyzwalacz chroniący przed załączeniem przy
