This method of measuring the arc voltage, compensates for the voltage drop in the welding cable to the wire feeder. With an ESAB torch supporting "TrueArcVoltage", the voltage drop all the way to the contact tip is compensated. - Page 15 ESAB service personnel. NOTE!
