If it malfunctions or breaks down, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric currents, to reduce the risk of electric shock.   • Page 8 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS CONTINUED A minimum of two people are required to assemble this treadmill. Also, read and understand all instructions thoroughly before assembling the treadmill. 1. Tie the attached black guide wire to the wire connector and feed the wire slowly through the bottom left upright (D) opening and pull the connector from the top.
  • Page 9 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS CONTINUED 4. Insert the Bracket (L) between the uprights and secure them with four screws (d). 5. Rest the console with handrails onto the uprights and attach cable from the console to the cable that comes from the right upright.

    SAFETY KEY & CLIP Your Bladez treadmill is equipped with a safety key that will disable the treadmill if it is not in place. You should attach the clip end to your clothing. The magnet end goes into the recess of the console.

Adjust your maximum safe heart rate with the keys. Note: The computer sets your low-end target heart rate by calculating 65% of your maximum heart rate.
