Lift the build platform using the manual control screen (Setup » Extras »
Controls) before switching the printer off in order to be able to clean
beneath it.
Once the Hotends have cooled to at least 50ºC, switch off and unplug
the printer.
Wipe the glass walls and roof using a clean dry or slightly moist microfiber
cloth.
Clean the interior of the printer using only dry microfiber cloth or a
vacuum cleaner.
Do not clean the 3D printer with liquid or aerosol cleaners, or any harsh or
abrasive chemicals.
Maintenance
With the build plate lowered fully to the bottom, apply a little of the
supplied Magnalube grease onto the lead screw. Apply one drop of the
supplied Superlube oil on each of the X, Y and Z axles (not the lead screw)
and both print head shafts when needed. Move the print head around
manually and then raise the build plate up and down using the manual
controls (Settings » Extras » Manual controls) to distribute the oil and
grease evenly afterwards.
Check the filter every six (6) months to see if it needs replacing.
Filament care
Keep your filament untangled, dry, clean and out of direct sunlight to
avoid clogging and/or poor printing results.
