Caution: Before installing the Battery, remove the ignition key from the Generator

Control Panel.

Place the 12 vdC, 30 amp hour Battery (not supplied) onto the Battery Baseplate

(10), 7-3/4" wide. refer to the photo above, right.

secure the Battery on the baseplate with the nylon Belt (46).

Connect the positive (+ red) cable from the Generator to the positive (+) terminal of

the Battery.

Connect the negative (– black) cable from the Generator to the negative (–) terminal

of the Battery.

Generator Setup and Cable Connections

Place the Generator outdoors where it will be used.

This should be on a flat surface and away from flammable materials. Do not allow

the Generator to get wet. if used indoors, the area must be well ventilated to allow

dissipation of exhaust fumes. Follow all installation precautions in manual.

add 52.5 oz. (1.55 liters) of oil to the Engine by removing the dip stick and adding

through its hole.

Fill the Gas Tank (outdoors) with up to seven gallons of unleaded gasoline. do not

top-off tank. Never refill the Gas Tank while the engine is running.
