MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES - MANUAL INDEXING
Use the procedure below to manually index the tool. This is a procedure used for cycling the tool
for general maintenance and/or incomplete strapping cycles.
For bench maintenance:
1. Remove the battery from the tool.
2. Pull back the rubber boot to expose the
front of the gear housing.
3. Using a 6mm allen wrench, rotate the gear
assembly clockwise to open and close the
sealer jaws
For incomplete strap cycles:
1. Remove the battery from the tool.
2. Pull back the rubber boot to expose the front of the gear housing.
3. Using a 6mm allen wrench, rotate the gear assembly clockwise to open the sealer jaws.
Continue rotating the gear housing until the tool releases from the strap.
4. Cut off and discard strap.
5. Inspect tool for problem conditions and battery for proper charge.
