2. Installation

2.1 Fixture Installation and Hydraulic Connections

1. A threaded hole is required in the guard
clamping blocks in order to fix the injector
fixture (HB378 kits supplied after Jan 2005
will have this hole pre-drilled). If required,
remove the two clamping blocks from the
guard and add the M12 x 1.75 threaded
hole as shown.
2. Fit the fixture bracket NTA5001 into the
guard and secure with two M12 bolts into
the threaded holes produced above.
3. Before fitting the main fixture assembly,
ensure that the guard is clamped securely
to the machine bedplate.
4. When you first receive the fixture assembly,
remove the two screws from either side of
the top block (to be used in step 5).
