Switching to Navigation Mode

Press the function button ..
or
Navi
Select in the main function menu.
This displays the map with the menu
system either displayed or hidden.
i If the message Please insert the map DVD to
activate Navigation. appears instead of the map
display, see ( page 50).

with menu system displayed

2 Menu system, with main functions
3 Current vehicle location
4 Menu system, navigation submenu

Displaying/Hiding Menu System
To hide: Press $ or % and when
Full Screen
the menu item
press C.
The menu system is hidden. This dis-
plays the map in full screen mode.
To display: In full-screen map mode
press C.
or
Press the function button ..
Setting the Map Scale
To set the map scale: Press Í
or Ì.
The map scale is displayed.
To enlarge the map: Press Í.
To reduce the map: Press Ì
1 Scale
is displayed
2 Pointer indicating the currently set
map scale
3 Currently set map scale as number
