To display a traffic message:
Select a road, area or region from the
list.
To close the list:
Press the ( or & button once or
repeatedly.
Example of a traffic message
1 Depending on your selection:
Messages on the route All messages
or
2 Icon for message type, e.g. warning
message
3 Country designation
4 Road, area or region for which there is
a message
5 Text of message
6 Message 1 of 1 for the road affected
To scroll within the message or to
the next message:
Press the % or $ button.
To return to the message list:
Press the ( or & button.

Route Guidance

Read-aloud function

The read-aloud function is only available
when route guidance is active. It can read
out traffic reports relating to the route. You
can set the language ( page 38) and the
read-aloud speed ( page 39).
If necessary, switch to navigation mode
and show the menu system
( page 53).

COMAND reads out the messages in se-
quence.
i The Messages on the Route menu item has no
function if there are no messages relating to the
route.
To cancel read-out of current mes-
sage:
Cancel Read-aloud Function
Select
or
Press the F button.
COMAND reads the current message
aloud and then ends the read-aloud func-
tion.
