Contents of Maintenance, Inspection
1. Check if it chucks nozzles securely
2. Check for any excessive clearance in X,
Y or Z-direction
3. Check for smooth movement when it is
moved up and down
4. Check for dust or dirt on nozzle chucking
and taper.
1. Check if it rotates in a constant torque
when it is rotated manually
1. Check the smooth movement when it is
turned over
2. Check mechanical stopper for
misalignment
1. Disassemble and clean it periodically

1 Nozzle holder
Dust on the taper or chuck causes air
(Inside)
leakage or wrong chucking.
4 Air joint in nozzle holder
Dust on the air joint causes following
troubles.
a. The vacuum pressure gets
unstable and causes troubles in

pickup or mounting.
b. The lubricating oil is worsened
to make the burning of θ -axis.
5 Reflector
A white resin part. In recognizing parts
with a camera, it reflects the light and
makes the shadow of parts. Dirt on
this part increases wrong recognition.
