Procedures for Replacing Consumables Used on the Vacuum Pump

Periodic Checks

Inspect consumables periodically by referring to the table below once you start to use the
machine.
See the section 1-6-2, "List of Consumables" for details of consumables.

Measure of replacement
1) Cup packing ------------------------------------------ If vacuum pressure is low.
2) Intake and exhaust valves ------------------------ If they are deformed, cracked or bent.
3) Gasket and O-ring ---------------------------------- If they are hardened, cracked, or elongated.
4) Intake valve interference prevention rubber -- If it is cracked or deteriorated.
If air, solvent, powder, etc. enter into the pump, the life of consumables
will be short to be replaced.
