    Its high capacity is a result of a two stage screening process and a large 48" diameter drum. 15" wheels and a full frame transport make the 480 easy to move. A removable intake auger and a hand-operated jack let you adjust the cleaner for operation in the field.

Make these practices a working part of your safety program. Be certain that everyone operating this equipment is familiar with the recommended operating and maintenance procedures and follows all the safety precautions.

  • Page 13 Operation Instructions - 480 Grain Cleaner Operation The Cleaner will remove not only “fines” and chaff, but also large trash such as cob pieces or stalks. A 3 hp, 1725 RPM electric motor is recommended to drive the cleaner. The electric motor and a weatherproof switch to control the motor must be supplied by the customer.

    Maintenance / Bolt Torque - 480 Grain Cleaner Maintenance Service Belt tension must be maintained to assure maximum belt life. Check the belt tension frequently and remove any trash, which might accumulate in the pulley grooves. If the cleaner has the trash pan option, be sure to clean out any remaining grain in the trough to keep it from rotting.

    Repair Parts Limited Warranty Buhler Industries Inc. warrants Farm King replacement parts purchased after the expiration of the Buhler Industries Inc. Limited Warranty, and used and serviced as provided for in the Operator’s Manual, to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of thirty (30) days from the invoice date for the parts.
