For detailed information, as installation, processing and handling of envelopes, refer to the” Operating Guide”.

    Remove the two cross head screws (A). Remove both support axels (B). Remove the separator unit. Illustration 3 Disassembling / Separator Unit Turn the Access B400 on the backside to get access to the screws. Loosen 9 screws. One screw is underneath the rubber foot.

    6 Adjustments 6.1 Cutter Prepare the Access B400 for the cutter adjustment as shown in the picture: Bypass the protective cover switch with a magnet. Connect the power supply. Adjustment: The ball bearing is turning on an eccentric axle. 1. For begin of the adjustment, the mark on the nut has to stay at the top position.

    6.2 Separator Unit Basically the separator unit is pre-adjusted through Frama AG. The space between separator shoe and letter table needs only to be controlled in case of bad separated envelopes. Process as followed: Put the adjustment tool underneath the separator shoes as displayed.

    7.3 In General Maintenance The maintenance of the Access B400 could be conducted by the occasion of a customer visit. Following points should be performed: Clean the inside and outside of the Access B400. Do not use harsh chemical cleaners! Clean the inside from dust and paper particles.

    7.5 Display the Total Live Cycle With a special procedure the total hours the Access B400 has been in operation, can be read out. Process as following: Switch Power off. Remove the protective cover. Switch power on. The LED of the power switch starts blinking.

    7.6 Access B400 Motor Cooling System The Frama letter opener Access B400 is, for reasons of cooling, equipped with an internal fan.
