but the index value may change while the system is running. However, you are not
recommended to assign a system index if not urgently necessary.

Traffic mirroring configuration has the following restrictions:
1)
ACL restrictions
Only the inbound direction is supported.
VLAN-ACLs and global ACLs are not supported.
Only one destination port can be configured on a board.
On the same board, the traffic mirroring destination port and the monitor port for
port mirroring must be the same one.
2)
Mirroring destination port restrictions
It cannot be a member port of an aggregation group.
It cannot be a non-Ethernet port, such as a POS interface, CPOS interface, E1/T1
interface, MP-group interface, channelized serial interface, ATM interface, or RPR
port.
It cannot be the same as the source port of traffic mirroring.
It cannot be a port on an XP4B or XP4CA board.
On a GV48 or GP48 board, only one destination port can be configured.
3)
Source port restrictions for traffic mirroring
A source port cannot be the same as the destination port.
WAN interfaces, including CPOS interfaces, E1/T1 interfaces, MP-group
interfaces, channelized serial interfaces, and ATM interfaces, cannot be
configured as source ports.
Ports on a C-type, CA-type, or XP4B board cannot be configured as source ports.
If the source port is on a GV48 or GP48 board and the destination port is also on
the board, the destination ports for inbound traffic mirroring and outbound traffic
mirroring must be the same one.
When configuring traffic mirroring, note that:
Outbound port traffic mirroring is not supported on the D-type boards with chip
version 0.
If the traffic-limit command is configured, traffic mirroring mirrors the traffic after
rate limiting, while port mirroring mirrors all the traffic.
If the traffic-priority command is configured, the mirrored traffic does not carry
the newly marked DSCP.
If the VLAN ID carried in a packet is allowed on the destination port (a trunk port),
the VLAN tag will not be removed. Otherwise, the VLAN tag will be removed.
When a packet received on an access port is mirrored to a trunk port in the default
VLAN of the access port, the packet will be tagged.
Packets mirrored from a GV48 or GP48 board are VLAN tagged.
