2 Safety 2.4 Personnel qualification and personnel training All personnel involved must be fully qualified to install, operate, maintain and inspect the equipment this manual refers to. The responsibilities, competence and supervision of all personnel involved in installation, operation, maintenance and inspection must be clearly defined by the operator. -

6 Commissioning/Start-up/Shutdown The fluid handled is pumped off until the stop level of the float switch is reached. When the switch is set to “manual” mode, the pump can be started up directly. However, this should be done only above the stop level and for short periods, e.g., for checking the direction of rotation. -
