MOUNTING OF THE BIKE CARRIER ONTO THE TOW BALL

When mounting the bike carrier to the car, it is best that the car is parked
straight, the engine is turned off and the parking brake is activated. Make sure
that the tow ball is undamaged, clean and not greasy!
Locking plate
Finally tighten the big locking bolt on top of the bike carrier with the supplied
fixation key. Please make sure the bike carrier is fully tightened on the tow ball
cannot move (left/right, up/down) anymore. Check again if the bike carrier is
nice in straight and horizontal mounted behind your car. If not, please adjust
accordingly.
Caution: Do not forget to take of the big fixation key of the bolt before
you start driving!
Close with the locking plate the tow ball opening and lock it with the supplied
lock.
Turn loose the big locking bolt on top of the
bike carrier. Slide the locking plate to the
side so the tow ball opening is completely
open.
Slide the tow ball opening on the back of the
bike carrier over the tow ball of your car and
fasten the big locking bolt by hand. Position
the bike carrier horizontal and straight
behind your car.
Fixation key
Next you turn (by hand) the inside-hex bolt (M15x45) on
the bottom of the bike carrier against the tow ball (see
picture). Than tighten it with the hex-key in that way that
the complete bike carrier is completely horizontal (in one
straight line) behind your car.
