H Series Vent Free Gas Fireplace
This is an unvented gas-fired heater. It
uses air (oxygen) from the room in which
it is installed. Provisions for adequate
combustion and ventilating air must be
provided. Refer to page 6.
This appliance may be installed in an
aftermarket, permanently located,
manufactured (mobile) home, where not
prohibited by local codes.
This appliance is only for use with the type
of gas indicated on the rating plate. This
appliance is not convertible for use with
other gases.
INSTALLER: Leave this manual with the
appliance.
CONSUMER: Retain this manual for future
reference.

    ELECTRIC INSTALLATION Caution: Label all wires prior to disconnection when servicing controls. Wiring errors can cause improper and dangerous operation. This appliance must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes, or, in the absence of local codes, with either the National Electrical Code ANSI/NFPA 70. Electrical work should only be performed by a qualified, licensed electrician.

An excess amount of fire media may adversely affect the performance of the heater. WARNING: All previously applied loose material must be removed prior to reapplication.

    TRIM and FINISH INSTALLING THE OPTIONAL SCREENS Your H Series Vent Free Gas Fireplace is compatible with optional safety screens. This includes three screens, magnets and metal tabs. 1. Approximately 12 inches from the left side of the front long opening, insert a metal tab between the hearth panel and fireplace frame leaving half of the tab exposed.

    MAINTENANCE MAINTENANCE OF YOUR FIREPLACE SYSTEM A qualified service agency should conduct an annual inspection and maintenance of your H Series Vent Free Gas Fireplace to keep it running safely. The following procedures should be performed only by a qualified service person.
