season. Brake pads may otherwise stick to
the drum and make restarting of the ma-
chine more difficult. Secure the machine with
wheel chocks against rolling away. Position
the wheel chocks under the side of the tyres
pointing to the downward slope.

transport travels. The ropes must be relieved
and the wheels must be free to rotate.
Maintenance
Apply the parking brake. The lever travel

should be 3-7 teeth. Adjust by the ropes if
required.

Front packer
The use of the front packer is beneficial when
used in the field:

The front packer is lifted out at the headland and
during transport.
In working position the front packer is lowered
to the level of the tyre packer. Depth setting is
not necessary.
