Use in the field

Activate the E-Manager.
¾
Follow the associated operating instructions
for the settings on the E-Manager.
Perform the calibration, see chapter Pneumatic
¾
system and operating instructions for the
E-Manager.
Observe the notes in the following chapters
¾
for the required settings on the fan as well as
the drill and fertiliser coulters.
Working speed
The drill can operate at working speeds of up
to 15 km/h.
The speed depends on the field conditions (soil
type, crop residues etc.), seed, seed quantity,
coulters and other factors.
Operate somewhat slower under difficult
¾
conditions.

Headland
At the headland, lift out the front support
¾
wheels or front packer, DiscSystem, fertiliser
coulter and TurboDisc seed bar. Lift out the
machine during travel.
After turning on the headland position the
¾
machine approx. 2-5 m in front of the seedbed
with appropriate fan speed. The seed requires
some time to flow from the metering unit to
the coulters.
Accelerate uniformly and not too much during
¾
entering.
Do not reduce the fan speed too early and
¾
too far.
Otherwise, seed or fertiliser would remain in
the hoses and clog them.
The fertiliser hoses are not monitored by
the E-Manager without fertiliser or seed flow
monitoring.
