Rubber mount
The suspensions of the coulter discs are mounted
in maintenance-free rubber elements (2).
The harder the soil and the deeper the cultiva-
tion tools are working, the higher the required
preload.
Depth setting
The tools setting must be matched to the soil
conditions and can thus only be determined in
the field in working position.
It is highly recommended to find the correct
setting by trying and testing.
When lifting the machine, the hydraulic cylinders
always extend and the coulter discs are thus
lifted out.
1
The depth setting of the coulter discs is made
on the hydraulic cylinders by adding or removing
aluminium clips.
When lowering, the hydraulic cylinders are re-
2
tracted to the limit by the aluminium clips.
DiscSystem depth setting
Place the same number and colour of clips
¾
on all hydraulic cylinders (3).
Lower the machine in working position under
¾
pressure until the hydraulic cylinders rest
against the clips.
Set the control unit to floating position and
¾
drive a few yards in the field.
Check the submersion depth and the loosen-
¾
ing effect of the tools.
Attach or remove additional clips to reduce or
¾
increase the working depth.
