Transport position

WARNING
Danger of traffic accidents caused by
loosing the machine or machine parts
operating hydraulic functions.
Switch the control units to the locked position
¾
during transport travel and interlock them
mechanically or electrically, depending on
the design. Never switch them to the floating
position!
Check all interlocks before starting to drive.
¾
Release the parking brake and check the
¾
service brake (option).
Check whether all securing elements of the
¾
connection are in place and set correctly.
Check components of the connection for wear.
¾
In regard to the ball and socket coupling follow
¾
the notes in the Maintenance overview chapter.

Make sure before driving on public roads that
¾
the machine meets all respective applicable
national road traffic regulations.
1. Release the parking brake (option).
2. Fold the machine completely, see section
Folding.
3. Machines with front packer:
Lift the middle packer segment with the control
unit for the front packer. The transport position
has been reached when the system pressure
is indicated on the pressure gauge.
4. Switch off the E-Manager.
5. Switch all control units to the locked position
and secure against unintentional actuation.
6. Check lighting and warning signs for function
and cleanliness.
7. Check before starting to drive whether the
machine has been properly connected and
secured and all cultivation tools have been
retracted.
8. Check before starting to drive whether the
safety catch on both sides is locked correctly.
