AUX / MIC Section

The AUX / MIC section on the rear panel.
▪ The
AUX
input is for connecting a standard line-level source such as an MP3 player or CD
player. Like the

input lets you connect a microphone to the Z2. The signal is sent straight to the
Master outputs and is equally distributed between the left and right channels (for a more
detailed description, please read the separate Setup Guide as instructed in
Setup
Guide).
Both
MIC
and
AUX
inputs can be used simultaneously — they are simply mixed together and
sent through the tone EQ stage and then through to the outputs. The signal does not pass
through any of TRAKTOR's FX or through the Z2's channel EQs or Filters.
The
MIC
input can be muted with the on/off switch (see also
the top panel.
