Disassembly
The disassembly procedure may be performed with the
reservoir mounted on the pump. However, some mount-
ing locations may be too restrictive to provide access to
all components.
If installation requires dismounting of the reservoir,
make sure the reservoir is drained of lubricant before
removing the attaching hardware. This will reduce the
weight of the reservoir and reduce the chance of spill-
age.

1. Drain oil (see Preparing for Maintenance on page
2. Remove three hex nuts (1) and lock washers (5)
3. Remove tie rods (3) from reservoir cover (9).
4. Remove reservoir cover (9) from reservoir (11).
5. Remove fill screen (30) from fill cap (31) and clean

Assembly
1. Install fill screen (30) in fill cap (31).
2. Install new gasket (8) in pump.
3. Position reservoir (11) on pump and position reser-

6. Torque nuts to 5 ft-lbs (6.78 N.m).
