Fireplaces without a self-closing door may only be fitted individually to a chimney. The applicable local regulations and manufacturer’s instructions must be followed for the installation of the flue gas system.

The adjustable feet are height-adjustable and are used to align the fireplace insert. The adjustable feet must be placed directly on the load-bearing substrate.

This cavity can be closed with a hollow black fibre-glass gasket 10 mm x 2 mm in diameter.

    Flex-Line Installation manual __________________________________________________________________________________ Fire-resistant hot air systems Hot air cross sections The cross sections of hot air openings in hot air systems may not be closable and the cross section may not undercut the specification. The hot air openings must be optimally designed in terms of circulating air to create as little resistance as possible.

If a substructure with an integrated hot air pipe is fitted, only the area provided for this is to be opened. All connections are closed at the factory. The thermal insulation must have long-term thermal resistance. The concrete slab and the thermal insulation cover the entire cavity within the covering seamlessly.

The heat is emitted via the active casing surface in the form of radiation. As the temperature in the cavity is higher in radiation systems than in hot-air systems, particular requirements apply to the fire-protection requirements.

With front- opening appliances, the redirection consists of three stainless sheets 3 mm thick. First the two smaller ones are placed on top on the air wash channel and behind the reinforcement in the rear wall.
