Restoring the Default Factory Settings

Please note that on restoring the factory settings, all the
user settings will be deleted. The registration of the sen-
sors is retained.
If you restore the factory settings of the base unit, the
4-digit entry code is 1234!

Loosen the screw in the battery compartment cover
on the underside of the base unit using an appropri-
ate screwdriver.

Remove any batteries which are already inserted.

Insert three appropriate batteries in the battery com-
partment. Pay attention that the batteries are insert-
ed the right way around.

Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten
the screw in the battery compartment cover tight
using an appropriate screwdriver.

Changing the Battery

If the battery charge of the sensors is low or almost fully
discharged, the corresponding status message appears
on the display (BATT. LOW. / BATT. OFF). Change the
batteries as soon as possible in such cases to ensure a
reliable connection of all the components integrated in
the alarm system.
The way to change the batteries of the individual sensors
is explained in the Sensors for the Protect Series manu-
al supplied with the sensors.
This manual is enclosed with the base unit.
