Setting
Remote control
Two different remote control codes are assigned to this projector:
the factory-set code (Code 1) and the secondary code (Code 2).
This switching function prevents interference from other remote
controls when several projectors or video equipment next to each
other are used at the same time.
When operating the projector in "Code 2", the code for both the
projector and the remote control must be switched to "Code 2".
To change the code of the projector:
Press the Point 8 or OK buttons to switch between Code 1 and
Code 2.
To change the code of the remote control:
Press and hold both MENU and IMAGE button on the remote
control for more than 10 seconds to switch between Code 1 and
Code 2.
After changing the code, make sure the remote control operates
properly.

Note:
• When the batteries of the remote control are replaced, the remote control code
automatically returns to the initial code (Code 1).
Shutter demo
Press the Point 8
automatic slide shutter closes once with the lamp being turned on
and will open up again. This is used for checking the operation of
the automatic slide shutter.
Cleaning
This function is used to clean the inside of the projector. Using a
blower as well is more effective. (See page 43.)
Press the Point 8 or OK buttons, then the projected image is
blacked out temporarily regardless of whether or not an input
source is selected. The fan starts to operate automatically to help
blowing the dust.
To cancel the cleaning function, press any other button during
cleaning operations.

• The Power management function cannot be operated during cleaning.
