WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS?
DO NOT try to light any gas appliance.
DO NOT touch or operate any electrical switch.
TURN OFF the gas supply at the gas meter or isolation valve.
DO NOT use a mobile phone in the vicinity. Vacate the area and call your gas supplier or qualified
gasfitter.
NOTE: Some gases are heavier than air and it may be necessary to check for gas leaks at floor
level.
SAFETY
DO NOT place articles on or against appliance.
DO NOT store chemicals or combustible materials in the same room as, or vicinity of, this
appliance.
DO NOT spray aerosols near this appliance. Gases from some aerosol sprays become corrosive
when drawn into a flame.
DO NOT operate with panels, covers, flues or guards removed from appliance.
DO NOT enclose this appliance if it is installed outdoors.
CHECK that the combustion air openings are not obstructed.
