All of the parameters that you set with the panel keys can be set through the serial interface
except turning the power switch ON/OFF and setting the communication parameters.
Output requests for measured/statistical data, setup information, and error codes can be

When switching from local to remote mode
Receiving a "
:COMMunicate:REMote ON
the local mode causes the instrument to switch to the remote mode.
• The "REMOTE" indicator turns ON.
• All keys other than the LOCAL key are locked.
• The settings that existed in the local mode are maintained even when the instrument
switches to the remote mode.
When switching from remote to local mode
Pressing the LOCAL key when the instrument is in the remote mode causes the instrument
to switch to the local mode. However, this act produces no result if the "
" command has been received from the PC (local lockout condition).
