Configure the Switch
Configure the Ports
1. Login to the switch.
2. Run the commands below to configure the port settings for the switch. The interface you select will depend
on how you've connected to the switch.
enable
configure device
interface <management|ethernet> <1/1>
no bridge-port
ip address <IP|DHCP>
flow control <sent|receive> <on|off>
exit
Create a VLAN
1. Login to the switch.
2. Run the commands below to create the switch VLAN(s).
enable
configure device
vlan <ID NUMBER>
Add VLAN(s) to Switch Ports
1. Login to the switch.
2. Run the commands below to add the VLAN(s) to specific switch ports.
enable
configure device
interface ethernet <PORT NUMBER(S)>
bridge-port mode access
bridge-port access vlan <VLAN ID NUMBER>
exit
3. You can verify the VLAN port assignment with the below command.
display vlan
