METIS Vision MV05 / MV09 Rugged Thermovision Camera
Aligning the measurement system with the international temperature
scale.
Usually a conically running area between lens assembly and meas-
urement object in which the infrared radiation is recorded. Must be
kept free of disturbing objects.
Formula character: ε. Radiation capacity of a measurement object in
relationship to an infrared radiation calibration source with the same
temperature.
Also referred to as black-body radiators or black bodies. Artificial radi-
ation source with an emissivity of approximately 1.00 or 100%.
Maximum possible deviation of the output signal from the correct tem-
perature of the measurement object at emissivity ε = 1, response time
t
= 1 s, ambient temperature = 23°C.
90
Dimension for the repetition of a measured value under comparable
conditions.
Formula character: t
. Time that the Thermovision Camera requires to
90
track 90 % of a temperature change or of a temperature jump on the
signal output.
Specifies the wave-length interval of the IR radiation spectrum that is
filtered out for the temperature measurement.
