"This device has been designed to operate with the
antennas listed below, and having a maximum gain of
0.9 dB. Antennas not included in this list or having a
gain greater than 0.9 dB are strictly prohibited for use
with this device. The required antenna impedance is
50 ohms."
"To reduce potential radio interference to other users,
the antenna type and its gain should be so chosen that
the equivalent isotropically radiated power (e.i.r.p.) is
not more than that permitted for successful commu-
nication."
"Exposure to Radio Frequency (RF) Signals: The wire-
less device is a radio transmitter and receiver. It is
designed and manufactured not to exceed the emis-
sion limit for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy
set by the Ministry of Health (Canada), Safety Code
6. These limits are part of comprehensive guidelines
and established permitted levels of RF energy for the
general population.
These guidelines are based on the safety standards
previously set by international standard bodies. These
standards include a substantial safety margin de-
signed to assure the safety of all persons, regardless
of age and health.
