Adjusting the thread tension

CAUTION
· Adjusting the bobbin case

Improperly adjusted thread tension may cause
puckering on materials, inferior stitches, or thread
breakage.

Turn OFF the power switch before taking out the bobbin case or replacing the
needle.
As a measure of the thread tension applied by the bobbin case, when a
bobbin (Cotton TEX40) is loaded in the bobbin case, the bobbin should
slowly drop by its own weight as illustrated in the figure.
* Adjust the needle thread tension in accordance with the bobbin thread
tension.
* The bobbin case for the TL-2200QVP is an exclusive JUKI part. Please
consult the JUKI dealers when you purchase it.
