5.2.2 RS-422 Connection (Multiple 505R/Finger007 series Connections)
RS422/RS232 converter is required to use RS422 communication between multiple 505R/Finger007 series and the
PC. Please follow the instructions below.
First, connect all RS422 port of all 505R/Finger007 series in parallel.
- Connect RS422-TX (+) of one 505R/Finger007 series to RS422-TX (+) of another 505R/Finger007 series.
- Connect RS422-TX (-) of one 505R/Finger007 series to RS422-TX (-) of another 505R/Finger007 series.
- Connect RS422-RX (+) of one 505R/Finger007 series to RS422-RX (+) of another 505R/Finger007 series.
- Connect RS422-RX (-) of one 505R/Finger007 series to RS422-RX (-) of another 505R/Finger007 series.
Second, you have to connect one of RS422 port of 505R/Finger007 series to RS422/RS232 converter.
- Connect RS422-TX (+) of the one 505R/Finger007 series to RX (+) port of the converter.
- Connect RS422-TX (-) of the one 505R/Finger007 series to RX (-) port of the converter.
- Connect RS422-RX (+) of the one 505R/Finger007 series to TX (+) port of the converter.
- Connect RS422-RX (-) of the one 505R/Finger007 series to TX (-) port of the converter.
- Plug in the RS232 9PIN connector of the converter to the
