TROLLING MOTOR INSTALLATION AND OPERATION Transom Mount Installation NOTE: The R5 trolling motor will fit transoms up to 7.62 cm (3 in.) thick. 1. Place the trolling motor on the transom of the boat. 2. Tighten the transom clamp screws securely by hand. Do not overtighten the transom clamp screws. -
