Part 2. Troubleshooting
2.42. "L8-00" – Electronic thermal overload
Trigger
When compressor overload (except dur-
ing startup) is detected.
Possible cause
Refrigerant circuit is clogged.
Refrigerant overcharge.
Faulty compressor.
Faulty outdoor inverter PCB.
2.43. "PJ-00" – Defective capacity setting
Trigger
Outdoor main PCB detects a defective
capacity in EEPROM.
Possible cause
Positions of PCB dip switches are not OK.
Faulty outdoor main PCB.
2.44. "UA-00" – Indoor-Outdoor PCB combination
Trigger

Effect
Unit will stop operating.
Check
Check for possible blockage (blockages
can be checked by measuring the refriger-
ant/pipe temperature. Sudden drop in
temperature could indicate a blockage
(remark: this is not valid for the expansion
valve)).
Check for refrigerant overcharge.
Check compressor (see page 91).
Check compressor connection and wiring.
Check expansion valve operation (liquid
back issue).
Check refrigerant charge (see page 106)
+ check for leaks.
Check outdoor inverter PCB (see
page 101).
Check if the alive led is blinking in regular
intervals.
Check if the correct spare part is installed.
Effect
Unit will stop operating.
Check
Check if dip switches are set to default
(OFF) position.
Check if the alive led is blinking in regular
intervals.
Check if the correct spare part is installed.
Check if the outdoor main PCB receives
power.
Effect
Unit will stop operating.
Check
Check combination database.
Check setting [E-01].
2. Error code based troubleshooting
