To edit a stored protocol.
• From the Home screen press F1 to display the protocol library.
• Use the arrow keys to highlight the desired protocol.
• Press Enter and from the selection box, choose Edit Protocol.
You may change any of the editable fields for the protocol.
• To add or delete a step or cycle, press F3.
• To choose increment or decrement of time or temperature, put the cursor
on the time or temperature field to be adjusted and press F4.
• To set the ramp time or ramp rate, place the cursor on the temperature to
which you are ramping and press F4.
• When you finish editing the protocol, press F5.
Note that you may choose to run the edited protocol without saving the edits by choosing Run
Protocol from the selection box.
Note that you may choose to save the edits prior to running the protocol. You may choose Save
Protocol or Save Protocol As... from the selection box. Once you've saved or named and saved the
protocol, you may choose Run Protocol from the selection box.
To create a new protocol.
• From the Home screen press F2.
• Use the arrow key to highlight Custom in the selection box and press Enter.
• Edit the fields for your protocol.
• To add or delete a step or cycle, press F3.
• To choose increment or decrement of time or temperature, put the cursor
on the time or temperature field to be adjusted and press F4.
• To set the ramp time or ramp rate, place the cursor on the temperature to
which you are ramping and press F4.
• When you finish editing the protocol, press F5.
Note that you may choose to run the edited protocol without saving the edits by choosing Run
Protocol from the selection box.
