DRAINING TANKS
1. Turn off key.
FOR SAFETY: Before leaving or servicing
machine, stop on level surface turn off machine,
and set parking brake, if equipped.
2. Raise squeegee and brush head and transport
machine to nearest floor drain.
NOTE: If using bucket to drain machine, do not use
same bucket for filling solution tank.
DRAINING RECOVERY TANK
When finished scrubbing or when refilling solution
tank, recovery tank should be drained and cleaned.
ATTENTION: If recovery tank is not drained before
refilling, foam or water may enter the float shut-off
screen and damage vacuum motor. Foam will not
activate float shut–off screen.
1. Remove drain hose from holder, position hose
over floor drain and twist off drain hose plug. To
completely drain recovery tank, hinge open tank
sideways and flip up tank support stand to rest
tank on (Figure 22).

2. Clean recovery tank after each use. Be careful not
to spray water into shut-off float screen.
3. Replace drain hose plug tightly after draining.
DRAINING SOLUTION TANK
To drain leftover cleaning solution from solution tank
follow the steps below:
1. Pull clear gallon marker hose off hose barb at rear
of machine and drain solution into floor drain or
bucket (Figure 23).

2. Rinse solution tank with clean water after each
use. This will prevent clogging due to chemical
buildup.
3. Push solution flow lever forward to rinse out
solution flow system.
4. Reconnect clear hose to hose barb. Be certain
hose is completely pushed on hose barb.
BATTERY CHARGING
NOTE: Recharge batteries ONLY after a total of 30
minutes of use or more. This prolong battery life.
The following charging instructions are intended
for the 24V charger supplied with the machine.
Only use a battery charger with the following
specifications to prevent battery damage.

FOR DEEP CYCLE BATTERY CHARGING
NOTE: For optimum machine operation, keep
batteries charged at all times. Never let batteries set
in a discharge condition.
WARNING: Batteries emit hydrogen gas.
Explosion or fire can result. Keep sparks and
open flame away. Keep battery compartment open
when charging.
FOR SAFETY: When servicing machine, wear
protective gloves when handling batteries and
battery cables. Avoid contact with battery acid.
1. Transport machine to a well ventilated area when
charging.
2. Turn key off.
3. Set parking brake, if equipped.
