OPERATION This manual is furnished with each new 5280 model. It provides necessary operating and preventative MACHINE DATA maintenance instructions and an illustrated parts list. Read this manual completely and understand the machine before operating or servicing it. Please fill out at time of installation for future reference.

10. After charging batteries, check electrolyte level (A) in each battery cell. Add just enough distilled water to bring electrolyte level (A) up to 1cm (0.38 in.) from bottom of fill rings (B). DO NOT OVERFILL (Figure 55). FIG. 55 Tennant 5280 (10–00)
