• T h e pow er supply cord and plug sh ould
not be modified. I f it w ill not fit th e outlet,
h av e a proper outlet I nstalled by a q ualified
electrician.
• U sing an ex tension cord to connect th e
pow er is proh ibited. Connect th e pow er
cord and plug directly.
• Electrical ground is req uired on th is
appliance.
• Make sure th at th e pow er cord is not
pinch ed by th e range or h eav y obj ects.
Failure to do so can result in serious burns or
electrical shock.

Connecting th e Pow er Cord
The rear access cover must be removed. Loosen the
two screws with a screwdriver. The terminal block will
then be accessible.

U se the cord/ conduit connection plate to install the
power cord or conduit. Leave the connection plate
as installed for power cord installations. Remove the
connection plate for conduit installations and use the
smaller 1 1 /
1 3 / in. (3.5 cm) power cord hole.

For power cord installations, hook the strain relief
