Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors
and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS:
Do not try to light any appliance.
Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any
phone in your building.
Leave the building immediately.
Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor's
phone. Follow the gas supplier's instructions.
If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire
department or 911.
A qualified installer, service agency, or gas supplier must
perform installation and service of this appliance. In the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts, all installation of gas
lines and gas fittings must be performed by a licensed
gas fitter or licensed plumber.

The venting system must NEVER be attached to a chimney serving a separate solid fuel burning appliance. Each gas appliance must use a separate vent system.

Excess draft can cause issues such as a rapid, or “nervous” flame picture, undesirable flame color, or pilot lifting which may prevent the fireplace from staying lit.

Lift up on the lower air panel to remove it from the fireplace opening then carefully lift up on and remove the left and right side panels.

Thermostatic Remote Control Optional Wall Switch The Thermostatic Remote Control can be programmed to function automatically—see pages 34-39. Gas conversions must be performed by a qualified service technician.

The following procedures should be per-formed only by a qualified service person.
