Using the options in Record mode
When you press
in Record mode, the following
options are available for the current shot:
Note: Depending on the settings for the current shot,
some options are unavailable.
Image Quality: allows you to select an image
quality, High, Mid, or Low.
Special Effect: allows you to change the color tone
or apply a special effect to the image.
Self Timer: allows you to set the phone to take a
video clip after a predefined time. Press
to select a time delay and select Start. When you
press
or
, the timer starts counting down.
Enable Space: shows the available memory space
for video clips.
For Mail/Save: allows you to select one of the
following options:
For Mail: allows you to record a video of up to 1
minute for adding to a video mail.
For Save: allows you to record a video clip within
the limit of the current available memory. How long
your video can be depends on how much memory
has been used.
If you set the image quality to High or Mid, you
can record up to 1 hour.
If you set the image quality to Low, you can record
up to 2 hours.
VClip Album: switches to the Video Album menu
(MENU 6-3). For details, see page 125.

Using the keypad in Record mode
You can use the following keys to customise your
camera settings when you are in Record mode.
Key
Function
flips the image vertically.
views the mirror image.
/
changes the camera mode.
/
changes the image brightness.
selects an image quality.
changes the color tone or applies a
special effect to the phone.
sets a timer.
shows the available memory space.
selects either Mail mode or Save mode.
switches to the Video Album menu
(MENU 6-3).
pauses or resumes the recording.
