Call functions
Viewing missed calls
If you do not answer a call for any reason, the
phone indicates a missed call with a text notification
on the screen.
If the display informs you of a missed call, press
to access the Calls log list.
Or, press
to clear the message and return to
Standby mode.
You can also view missed calls via the Missed Call
menu (MENU 1-4). Missed calls are indicated by
the
icon. For details, see page 58.
Options during a call
Your phone provides a number of functions that you
can use during a call. As some of these options are
network services, you may not be able to use all of
them at all times.
Press
during a call to access the following
options:
Phonebook: allows you to go to the Phonebook
menu. See page 54.
Message Setup: allows you to go to the Message
menu. See page 70.
Mute Mic.: allows you to switch your phone's
microphone off, so that the other person cannot
hear you.
Example: You wish to say something to a person in
the room, but do not want the other person to hear
you.

Key Tone Off: does not transmit the key tones. It
allows you to press keys without hearing annoying
key tones during a call.
Send Phone #: sends the DTMF (Dual Tone Multi-
Frequency) tones of your phone number.
Talk:Send DTMF: sends the DTMF tones of the
currently displayed number. DTMF tones can be
used to control electronic phone services, such as
bank-by-phone or voice mail. During a call, enter
the digits you want to send as DTMF tones, for
example, a bank account number and password.

Switching to Whisper mode
Whisper mode automatically increases the
microphone's sensitivity to allow the other person
to hear your voice even though you may be
speaking very softly.
To switch to Whisper mode, press and hold
during a call.
Note: In normal environments, this feature may
cause your voice to be loud.
