6. Saving The Terminal Setting Configuration
If you need to reuse a configuration in other terminals of the same type, you can save your current
configuration to a file that can then be loaded into other terminals.
Be aware that if the terminals have different software versions, some of the settings may be different than
expected. If possible, use the same software version in the terminals.
To save the current configuration of your terminal to a file on your computer, go to Control Panel > Advanced
> Load/save configuration > Click 'Download configuration' and the configuration is downloaded from the
terminal to the downloads section of your computer.
To load a configuration from a file, go to Control Panel >– Advanced > Load/save configuration > Click 'Load
configuration' – Browse to the configuration file and click Open. The configuration is now loaded into your
terminal. When the configuration is loaded successfully, the terminal will restart with the new configuration.
