5. Accessing The Terminal From A Remote Location

By default, remote access with SMS is enabled. Any mobile number can send SMS remote commands to
the terminal if they have the phone number of the terminal and the remote SMS password. Please refer to
the user manual for the supported SMS remote commands.
You can limit the access to certain mobile numbers by adding them to the 'Trusted phone numbers' and click
'Save'. Please note that this is a terminal level settings and Pivotel will not have a record of the changes. The
only way to edit the 'Trusted phone numbers' is by logging into the web interface or factory reset.
You can also enable remote access to your terminal by AT command or web interface over the Inmarsat
BGAN network. Please refer to user manual for more information.
