Audio Pointing Mode; Apn Setup (Must Do) - COBHAM Explorer 540 Setup Manual

Before using your Cobham Explorer 540, please refer to the manufacturer installation guide and user manual.
This guide serves as reference only. You are responsible to ensure the terminal's settings meet your business
rules and applications. Pivotel shall not be held liable for any losses or damages incurred by users of this
guide. The guide is based on Explorer 540 firmware version 1.0.2 and may differ from other firmware.
To edit the terminal settings, please ensure the SIM is installed, power supply cable is connected between
the terminal and power supply and a computer is connected to the terminal using a RJ45 cable.
Please log in to the web interface as an administrator to complete the following changes. The default
login credentials are below:
Web Interface: 192.168.0.1
Login Username: Administrator
Login Password: Admin

1. Audio Pointing Mode

When the terminal is turned on, there is a continuous 'beep' sound to assist you with the pointing. The sound
will stop when the SAT signal strength reaches around 54dB. You can disable the beep sound by logging
into the web interface - Control Panel > Terminal Settings > un-tick 'Audio assisted pointing' and click 'Save'.

2. APN Setup (Must Do)

To use the terminal with a Pivotel SIM, you need to setup the Pivotel VPN.
In the web interface, go to Standard Data >
Password '1234' and click 'Save'. After saving the changes please reboot the terminal.
