23. You would then need to press the Drive Control to reverse position (rear facing arrow)
(Fig 2.11). When the unit is switched into reverse an audible alert is immediately activated.
24. BEFORE REVERSING- always check behind you to ensure safe movement and also ensure
no persons, pets, or obstacles are present.
25. Engage the drive accelerator – the unit will immediately begin to reverse.
26. NOTE: As a safety feature the unit is designed to disengage the cutting blades when
switched into reverse. ALSO the speed of the unit in reverse is only half that of the forward
speed. Safety in operating your Recharge Mower® is a priority. All these features have
been included to support the safe operation of the unit and the operator.
27. Release the accelerator to come to a complete stop. Then move the switch on the drive
control switch to the forward arrow position (Fig 2.11).
28. To reengage the blades follow step 9. Use the accelerator pedal to begin the forward motion
once again.
29. Disengage the blades and come to a complete stop when you are done. Safely park the unit.
Engage the parking brake (Fig 2.3). When you leave the unit, turn the key to the off position
and remove the key.
30. Connect the charger end to the specially designed connection point (Fig 1.3). Plug the other
end of the charger into a standard wall outlet to reenergize the batteries. The charger will
automatically shut off and the light will indicate the color GREEN when the unit is fully
charged.

Checking Tire Pressure

1. Always check tires for damage.
2. Check tire pressure with proper tool.
The recommended operating tire pressure is:
 Approximately 30 psi for the tire inflation.
