18. Before beginning to move ALWAYS be aware of your surroundings. Always take
precautions to ensure that the area you are mowing is clear of debris, obstruction,
obstacles or any power wires.
19. If this is the FIRST TIME you are riding the unit we suggest you drive the unit around the
area for a few minutes to allow you to become accustomed to the movement and speed of
the unit.
20. When you are in position to begin cutting:
a) Adjust the height of the mower.
b) Ensure that the area you are mowing is clear of debris, obstruction, obstacles or any
power wires.
c) Make sure that no people/animals are within 50ft of the mower.
a) Set the Drive Control Switch to FORWARD.
b) Engage and start the cutting blades.
c) Then engage the drive motor and begin cutting.
21. To stop – remove your foot from the accelerator. NOTE: The mower will automatically
brake once the pressure is released from the accelerator.
22. If you reach an area that requires you to reverse, release the accelerator and come to a
complete stop. Then press the RED Blade Motors Operators Button (fig 2.12).
