Grass Deflector Installation
 Remove and dispose any packaging.
 Carefully place the grass deflector on the deflector point located on the deck of the
unit (fig 1.7).
 Slide the supplied bar through the holes on the sides of the deflector point to secure
the grass deflector in place (fig 1.7).
 Slide the pin through the hole at the end of the bar to secure it in place (fig 1.7).
NOTE: DO NOT REMOVE the grass deflector at any time!

Special Feature – Trailer Hitch
The unit will not be able to sit on its rear bumper cover unless the trailer hitch is
properly retracted back into its original place!
 To extend the trailer hitch, you must first pull out the pin in the bar. Release the bar
and carefully remove the hitch.
 There are two holes on the hitch (fig 1.9). The hitch may then be placed back and
adjusted to fit the bar through the second hole (fig 1.10)
 Slide the bar through the second hole and insert the pin through the bar hole. Once the
hitch is properly extended, it is safe to use. When you are finished using the hitch,
retract the hitch by inserting the bar and pin back into the first hole on the hitch.
