Before contacting a Samsung authorized service center, perform the following simple checks.
They may save you the time and expense of an unnecessary call.

Self diagnosis display

Display Blinking
slow The battery pack is almost discharged.
Tape end! slow When the remaining time on the tape is about 2 minutes.
Tape end! no The tape reached its end.
No Tape! slow There is no tape in camcorder.
Protection! slow The tape is protected from recording.

slow The camcorder has some mechanical fault.

slow Moisture condensation has formed in the camcorder.

Memory full! slow

There is no memory card in the camcorder.
There is not enough memory to record.
There are no images recorded on the memory card.
The memory card is record protected.
You tried to delete a protected image.
The camcorder can not play back.
The camcorder can not record.
The memory card needs to be formatted.
When progressing file delete.
The inserted memory card is not recognized by the
camcorder.
Action
Change to a charged one.
Prepare a new one.
Change to a new one.
Insert a tape.
If you want to record, release the protection.
1. Eject the tape.
2. Turn the camcorder off.
3. Eject the battery pack.
4. Insert the battery pack.
