H Hexagonal wrench (provided with the
PPM203B product) to remove the screw from
the end of the PPM203B arm.
Overview
Use these instructions to attach the Probe Arm
Adapter to the end of the PPM203B Articulating
Arm or the PPM100 Positioner. The Probe Arm
Adapter is designed to be used with the P7380
8 GHz 5X/25X Differential Probe.
CAUTION.
To prevent damage to the probe
arm adapter, do not overtighten the captive
thumbscrews on the Probe Arm Adapter.
Procedure
To install the probe arm adapter, follow the steps
in the appropriate illustrations.
Loosen the adapter top by
turning the two thumbscrews
counter clockwise.

Secure the adapter top by
tightening the two thumb screws.
Place the probe with the
handheld adapter in the loosened
adapter bottom (keyed).
Using the Hex wrench, attach the
adapter bottom to the probe arm.
Using the Hex wrench, remove
the screw from the end of the
articulated arm.
Follow steps 3, 4 and 5 as shown
for the PPM203B Ariculating Arm.
Tighten the probe arm knob.
Insert the probe adapter shaft
through the probe arm.
